To make her pieces, Tilly Sudbury uses recycled sterling silver (925) and recycled gold. Her gold plated jewellery is made in sterling silver, and plated with a generous, 4 micron layer of 18ct gold. Pieces are all handmade in London.

Care
Tilly Sudsbury does not recommend bathing or sleeping in your jewellery.
Gold plating does have the potential to fade with wear, sometimes it can rub away quickly depending on your skin type or lifestyle. To keep the plating in good condition for longer, do not bathe, swim or shower in your jewellery.
Make sure to take your jewellery off when undertaking any sporting or other activities where it can be rubbed or scratched.
Cleaning
Tilly Sudbury uses recycled sterling silver (925), to make many of their pieces. If you have a skin type that reacts with silver, and causes it to oxidise or mark your skin, you can keep this issue at bay by using a silver polishing cloth and wiping your jewellery every morning and evening before and after wear.
Gold is a pure metal, and keeps its brightness for a long time, however it does have the potential to tarnish, as any metal, this can be brightened back up with a gold polishing cloth.
